This classification of colleges has been carried out on the basis of the entity that owns the college. Govt institutes are owned by the State or Central Government. Private colleges are owned by private charitable trusts and organizations.

 

Admission process

In order to secure admission into reputed institutes and Government colleges, one must crack relevant entrance exam.
